第四届国际遥感考古会议

        以“自然与文化遗产空间观测新时代”为主题的第四届国际遥感考古会议将于2012年10月24-26日在北京召开。本次会议由联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）、中国科学院和国家文物局联合主办，联合国教科文组织国际自然与文化遗产空间技术中心(HIST)与中国科学院对地观测与数字地球科学中心共同承办。会议将重点探讨应用于文化与自然遗产监测与保护、数据记录与存档等领域的前沿空间技术，将为文化与自然遗产管理和保护领域的专家、决策者和学者提供一个权威的国际学术交流平台。

        诚挚欢迎对此会议感兴趣的专家、学者、决策者和师生投稿并参会。会议语言为英语，文章为英文，可以通过会议网站登录注册后提交。大会将选取优秀论文发表在SCI、EI期刊，以及《遥感学报》专刊。

4th International Conference on Remote Sensing in Archaeology (ICRSA4)

The 4th International Conference on Remote Sensing in Archaeology (ICRSA4) with the theme “A New Era of Earth Observation for Natural and Cultural Heritage” will be held in Beijing from October 24th to 26th, 2012. The Conference is co-organized by UNESCO, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and hosted by the International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage (HIST), a centre under the auspices of UNESCO, and the Centre for Earth Observation and Digital Earth (CEODE), CAS. The conference will focus on cutting-edge space technologies for monitoring, documenting, and preserving world heritage.

All participants who are interested or working in the field of earth observation on natural and cultural heritage are strongly encouraged to submit a research paper and develop proposals for an oral presentation. The language of both conference and papers is English. Excellent papers selected will be recommended to SCI，EI journals, or “Journal of Remote Sensing” for publication.
